The Democratic Community of Russian Speakers in Finland is a diaspora organization created to unite all free-thinking and democratically minded citizens of Russia living in Finland, as well as to promote the principles of democracy and universal European values among the entire Russian-speaking population of Finland.
We fight against Putin’s dictatorship, repression, corruption, and, of course, the war initiated by our country’s leadership through the hands of Russian soldiers on the territory of sovereign Ukraine. We advocate for Ukraine’s victory, regime change in Russia, freedom of speech, thought, and action, fair elections, and a just, free, and democratic future Russia.
The community organizes anti-war actions in Finland, humanitarian, cultural, and educational projects, events and meetings, human rights activities, interaction with Finnish society and politicians, as well as other forms of political activism.
