Today’s bombing of the shopping center in Kharkiv is another link in the 800-day long aggression.
Although any of the mentioned associations (EU, USA, NATO) has overwhelming economic, technological and organizational resources sufficient to stop the aggression of dictator Putin within a few weeks.
Now, if Ukraine is not immediately provided with everything it needs without at least the most odious restrictions, such as a ban on disabling military infrastructure in Putin’s immediate rear area, Ukraine’s ability to defend itself will be critically weakened: human resources are not infinite, and too many of the most motivated soldiers have died in more than two years. Europe soon risks facing the war directly, suffering the deaths of its own soldiers and the destruction of its own cities.
Allied indecision and illogical sanctions policies look like an invitation to blackmail by dictator Putin.
We call to mind the relatively recent history of appeasement policies and their results, to remember the repeatedly proven truth that you cannot negotiate with a bandit except by force. We should remember that a bandit cannot be trusted. It is time to give up useless fears and already deadly indecision.
Ukraine must be given everything it needs to stand up for the sake of humanity and your own safety.
