On sustainable peace in the interests of Ukraine and Europe 3 years of devastating war claimed hundreds of thousands of lives. Putin continues to kill and keep citizens of Ukraine and Russia in prisons, he is not and was not trusted. As the Anti-War Committee, we advocate that the bloodshed must be stopped. The current situation shows that there will be no simple solutions. We are convinced that the ongoing negotiations should take into account the interests of Ukraine and Europe, and do encourage Europe to provide Ukraine with the necessary humanitarian and military assistance in order to achieve sustainable peace. A ceasefire does not mean peace as long as Putin is in power. We will continue to fight for a just peace and will always support the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The Russian resistance is part of Europe, and we believe that Russia will sooner or later become part of a civilized Europe. Today, to ensure peace on the continent, Europe needs to become stronger and more independent in security matters, and develop a clear strategy against authoritarian regimes. We call on European countries to actively arm themselves and strengthen their defense capabilities in order to create a reliable system of collective security that will serve as a guarantee of peace and stability for all the peoples of Europe. We believe that only through joint efforts based on the principles of mutual respect and cooperation can we build a peaceful future for our countries and for the entire continent.
Respectfully,
Anti-War Committee of Russia
